Pif Paf Hangover is four guys from the northern lands of the Americas. Specifically St.Jerome in Quebec, Canada. These dudes now reside in Montreal, the hip cultural capital of the province. The combo is composed of singer guitarist and survival expert Maxo Finn; emotional drummer Emmanuel C. Vallière; keyboardist and avid woolgatherer Emmanuel C. Boucher; ane one tall vegetarian bassist, Gabriel Hardy.
Consistently festive in mood, the boys rapidly merged partying with music while performing electro-funky-mad jam sessions in the backyard shed. After frequenting the local taverns with instruments in tow, they decided to dedicate their talent to the creation of Pop-Electrock songs.
After quite a few futile brainstorming sessions to decide of an appellation, a friend of the band rationally came up with Pif Paf Hangover as it was so representative of the bunch. And it came to pass. Borne under this new moniker was, spontaneous music to dance to that seduced it's listeners...
Last year certainly was the most productive for the impetuous formation who consecutively composed, performed shows, entered contests (2nd Emergenza 2010, 2nd at the concours émergeant de Trois-Rivières 2010) festivals, parties and other delectations. All of those experiences resulted in an EP produced at studio la Fournaise by sound scientist David Laurendeau. Be prepared, be scared, PPH's audible orgy is ready to invade and everyone's at risk...
Making Love In Minivan
Slow motion
Steppin' out of the door
Purple skies
Hearing the city roar
And it's christmas time for the taxi man
10pm at the midnight club
No reason for the show to stop
Making love in minivan
Cause we won't all live forever
The men behind the smoke screen dance
Like taking candy from a stranger
Like every night is her last chance
Just start without me baby
(Making love in a minivan)
Commotion
Whispering in my ear
Purple eyes
Wink and then disapear
In a metropolis of russian dolls
Somewhere in between red and blue
The blind pig waits for the rendez-vous
Like I am waiting for your call
I don't even know your name
Just start without me baby
(Making love in a minivan)
